3G USB MODEM NOT WORKING IN WINDOWS 8
This
is the problem coming out when a user use his “micromax usb” modem in windows 8.
I got a solution for this problem and share with you it may be helpful for you.

now fallow these steps
- Just uninstall the software if already installed.
- Change the property of modem_installation.exe and showmodem.exe file compatibility to windows7 then press OK.
FURTHER
- Now restart your PC.
- Install the software again.{ you got this message when you try to connect with windows 8 “NO DEVICE”}
- Don’t worry the trick starts from here>>>>
- Open control panel >>>>device manager>>>other device..
- Uninstall all the modem related driver below other device.
- Then click on Action menu and then Scan for hardware changes.
- Don’t think about exclamation mark if you see above the modem related software below “other driver”.

Thanks for sharing this useful information, I was really stuck with this situation and was not able to get out of it. Sometimes things are really easy but we are not able to know the little secrets. i believe you are expert on this subject. Where did you even learn these things? It was just a coincident that i started looking and found the solution of the problem, otherwise I would've bought a new device till now.
